SAVE A CAT
OUR MISSION
The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. We are an all volunteer organization that rescues dogs of all ages but especially dogs 5 years of age and older.
We actively promote the adoption of older dogs. We spay/neuter all dogs, bring them up to date with shots, worming, microchipping and heartworm prevention. We provide our dogs with all necessary veterinary care, including treatment for such things as heartworm disease, kennel cough, pneumonia, intestinal parasites, urinary tract infections, fleas and ticks, and dental care.
Our regular adoption events are held at the South County Petco every first Saturday of the month and at Bentley's Pet Stuff in Kirkwood on the 3rd Saturday from 11AM and 3PM. We always have many dogs present to come and see, and even more online!
MEET MILA
Meet sweet Mila! She's a smaller 5 year old, St. Bernard mix weighing 91lbs. She had a rough start to life and has some weight on put on. Mila loves every human she meets and adores kids. She does well with calm dogs and can be bossy with those who get excited easily. She has a wonderful disposition, loves to go for walks, and enjoys car rides. We can't help but be attached to her!
Mila is looking for her forever home and has tons of love to give!
